Get your LN2 dewars and benching partners ready Monstru and everyone else interested in winning a full set of pots. This time, it's going to focus more on gpu overclocking and we are going to remove the cpu from the picture all together to make this more inclusive.

Ok the contest begins as soon as I make the thread in the next day or two and ends on OCT 31st MIDNIGHT Eastern Standard time, NO EXCEPTIONS. Submissions must be made to BOTH the contest thread here at the site AND Futuremark.
Any submission for this contest MUST INCLUDE:
Screenshot with background watermark I PROVIDE AT THE START
Valid ORB link using fm approved drivers
Picture of the WHOLE setup being benched DURING runs for contest
Dont have a digital camera? Go join another contest..

Your results will be scrutinzed by those that know whats up with bullshit scores, so don't try any cute stuff like disabling features in the benchmark or forcing the hw or benchmark to run in ANY WAY other than it was intended, mipping, modifying screenshots, etc.
Platform/cpu will be bloomfield/lynnfield corei7 @4.75ghz cpu frequency limit + any compatible mobo. Benchmark and gpu details to follow when I make the contest thread

Depends on what the GPU hardware requirements are.

If its going to require Multi New GPU's then I am not gonna to be in. The just had a 3DMark05 Low Clock contest on XS, not all that many can run in these contests with the GPU requirements to even get on the score board.

I beleive Vince mentioned it would be a GPU dependent bench. I would assume maybe '03 which scales with multi GPU.
I have been toying around with the LC '05 and must be missing some tweaks at the same clocks as the top spot I am roughly 1500 points behind the leader. I am running my GPU core and Mem higher also with 2x 4870x2. I only have my Cas 6 1600Mhz gskills left as my 2000Mhz cas8 Perfet storms have one bad stick and my Hyper X have 2 bad sticks. '05 seems to respond well to tight fast memory.

Closest I got was 37,000 at 4.14GHz or so. Wish I knew the magic tweak.

High uncore seemed to have no effect on the bench. I am running higher GPU core and mem OC and just can't figure it out. What do you use for LOD tweak with ATI cards

What setup are you guys using for GPU's ?

Just 1 GPU or SLI or Quad ?

And of course the latest GPU's out there if I know you two LOL

I ran 3x 5870's but drivers suck and softmods for these cards also currently suck.

I am using my 4870x2's bios flahed to 1.35v core 965 mem 1045 and still need to find 1500 pts

If it is 03 then you better have you some ATI's. I hope it is more than just a one bench contest as they always end up lop-sided. Needs to be a group of benches.

Yeah setlod is a great program made by elmor. You can also use ati tray tools... more stuff to tweak with that one to.

Haven't had any luck with ATI tool trays. Couldn't get it to work properly w/ quadfire.
