Are there any windows applications that can "adequately" test memory?
I know I can make a memt86 boot cd, but was thinking there might be something simpler lol
Like booting memtest in a VM :)

Get Memtest 2.11
I think this is the correct link
http://download.cnet.com/Memtest86/3000-2086_4-10912366.html
I have tried the lastest but went back to 2.11
I use this on every AMD setup and spend a fair amount of time finding the best RAM settings before I even start to bench. Chew showed me the way of the Jedi.

Yah chew has some good tips. Totally focused on that, and the only premium (IE Overpaid) piece of my AMD setup, is the ram :)
I cheaped out on i7, just to get in the door, and it shows lol.
Gotta spend some time with this memory :) I will burn the memtest disk later tonight, playing with Riva and VT1165 right now :)
