Started stocking the porch up with firewood, and getting things ready in case we lose power or just as bad... Internet!

Then I will heading up to my aunt's some time after the snow stops to give her a ride to the airport Sunday morning and dog site for a a few days.:Hi:

I should be online when I am there... if not... it means the cable is out.

Should be getting to benching by next weekend though. I am predicting chill water with possible flurries of LN2 in the extended forecast :)

I used to live in Ventnor (just south of Atlantic City... same island)

And when it really snows you can go out on the main thoroughfare and it is DEAD You can see for at least a mile in either direction.. no cars no traffic Its wonderful :)

I love it too but it doesn't snow here in Oklahoma like it use to when I was a kid. But now this season is the snowiest i have seen since then.

Just started snowing here and its still above freezing. Wont drop below freezing till sometime early early morning, and that is also the high for tomorrow.

Got power, got cable... getting 2-3" an hour and no 50+ MPH winds... its probably in the area of 10-20, maybe I am jaded cuz this is a windy area... no "blizzard" though...

50 mph winds sux while its snowing. Happened here X-Mas Eve when it snowed 14". My normal 20 minute or so drive home took 3 hours! 1st blizzard I have ever been in.

Sort of weird here we are not getting the winds but man it is going to take me 3 hours to shovel this dam side walk

the plow went through and pushed all the snow up on it so it is like 3' deep on my side walk :ohcrap:

Yeah shovelling the sidewalk was a bitch. I did not do it at all yesterday (I shovelled the entire driveway yesterday by about 8pm. By 2am, I stopped only doing the front half of it.

I just went out and shovelled somemore. The kids snow fort pile is ~ 6' high now and 10' long :) And I still have the whole back of the driveway to throw on it at about 12-14" deep (plus it is still snowing) I will get a picture of it tomorrow :)

I am in the last pic for scale purposes. All 6' 230 pounds :)

I like everything about snow even shovelling it. Only thing I do not like about the snow is shoveling out when the blow blocks the end of your driveway, since that is not snow anymore but big ice chunks.

Shovelled all this snow up (flat ground underneath) packed it hard as I could as I shovelled it all up there... (was thinking igloo but did a fort instead (that lasted over a month))

Been so nice and cool lately. Outside in a tee tonight and actually it was chilly!!! (I have been practicing though, turning off the AC when it is only 85F out...)

So messed up this year.. Feb we had 2' of snow March we were in the mid 90s... August we are dropping to 60F at night :s

If this is global warming... I LOVE IT!

FYI the snow got packed that deep cuz I threw the snow about 10' in the air (heavy snow so it landed with a solid PALUMPTH) then took the kids in hteir ski suits and threw them at it (you can see the indents) then I laid on it.. then I slammed it... it was a process (and why the pile was only 4-5' tall when the fort was built :) )

I hope this winter does the same. I love snow.

Oh Kal.. I was 230 in those pics.. I was bundled very well. Those jeans even in those pics with underoos underneath required a belt. Top is all me.. I am a belly hanger the belly pocket in that sweat shirt is not an optical illusion I am that fat lol but it is all belly. Runs in the family. I can go from svelte (for a fat dude) to bulbuous in 12 hours.. its crazy. MY G-Gpop stuck out like a 12 month pregnancy. I am blessed only looking 6-7 months along at my most swollen :) Mine comes and goes depending on the time of day I should spend the time to figure it out I suppose.
