I'm still confused on these. Are they ever going to be released or was there only a few made which some how got into the public?

Must be since the ones I have see here in the last few days were no ES chips! Also looking on HWBOT these don't really clock as well as the E8600? Well either way a nice chip and looking forward to the numbers!

rev im going to use the 2x2gb ddr3 kit 2133 cas 7 g.skills
Pretty sure they wont be released as retail?
Also I think on average they clock better than the e8600 which are a real crap shoot.

Some are only using them for '01 and the best I've heard is near 6.3GHz which is worse than most good E8600's.
I think Gautum's chip wouldn't do anything past 6.1GHz

Get those .2 hw boints for a gold cup or two.
J/K, hope you get a gem that clocks great, but with the new revision, probably won't be worth much.
