Still to get back my 661 from RMA, will either mod my GD80 or the chip....

Chip seems easiest if it actually works.

So is this supposed to eliminate the CBB and CB, or just lower them?

I wonder if this will do anything more on my 670/classified setup, the board already has shamino's cbb mod done ...

Not sure Dent, it was posted by Massman on hwbot. After all the hype coming out of europe regarding the lightning performance, I'm not sure I'd believe them if they said the Earth was round.

It's either one or the other. If you have done the cbcbb mod on the motherboard you don't need it on the cpu

Yeah I need to do the mods on my board (its a Rev 1.0), but the MB mod is not easy for me, my eyes are not as good as they used to be :(

cover everything with some sort of tape......so the target is isolated..and no other points/joints are exposed..conductive pen will work...just clean the surface first....a nice hard eraser...then blow / aircan your mobo...make sure the cpu is already seated..otherwise something could get into the socket...

mine eyes are bad too...but thats why i have mi spectacles...

Did you do the mod on the cpu?

What was CB before and after?

I don't think the CBcbb mod has anything to do with it...
