I would never put this beyond apple...
Most of you may not know that we at BSN* have always paid for our Apple parts that we review [or use] just like the rest of the consumer world. That being Mac Pros, Mac Book Pros or thousands of dollars in Software. Recently we bought an iPad [16GB WiFi] for review and while paying for an Apple app [Pages] discovered something that is downright ridiculous.

Would think portrait would be better for working with documents after all it is how you read a piece of paper.

Docking the tool bar to the side in landscape mode would make more sense. I know in windows since I started running 16:10 ratio monitors (even WORSE on 16:9) there just is not enough vertical real estate for document creation IMHO. Either rotate the display or moving everything off to the sides (what I normally do)

Saw the youtube video, theres like 3 apps that come with the damn thing (exaggerating), you'd think it'd be loaded with crap.

should atleast come with a $20 store card or something

I like the way you used screen grabs from the device for the review text :)

loaded with crap.

That pretty much sums it up. This is one piece of hardware the world could have easily lived without. No connectivity = no use.
