I was browsing this thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?p=4415278&posted=1#post4415278) at xs earlier and stumbled upon this link (http://www.guru3d.com/news/enthusiast-gaming-hardware-is-95-billion-market/).
This goes with what I've preached for some time now. We are more important than we give ourselves credit for AND what the manufacturers want us to believe. :good: 9.5 billion is nothing to sneeze at. Especially when its high margin parts.

according to my paypal account I account for just under half of that amount ;) rofl
I had no idea it was THAT huge, def a good thing
That article makes me feel good.
Makes me wonder how much longer it will be before manufacturers really start sniffing around OCA with their pockets full of goodies.
achieving the expected growth from 9.5b to 12+b would be phenomenal... it would be great if that actually happens.

All I'm trying to say is the nay-sayers are wrong. There is tons of money in this and therefore there is tons of marketing money thrown around. That includes the benching crowd. Tell me, what kinda budget are our top clockers (self-funded) going up against every session?
