Yes!! He is the only overclocker I could think of that would ever share this. Just a couple days ago he was playing like he didn't have it.

mr g man
can we open this bios and see if its applicable to other nvidia cards too? i'm not aware of cold slow bug on other cards but if there are bugs on other nvidia cards this would be super..

Anyone have a favorite link(s) explaining how to flash a nvidia card? I've never done a green card before, and flashed my ATI cards in windows.

from bz
http://www.benchzone.com/Downloads/Extreme_Overclocking/nVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_480/GeForce_GTX_480_Cold_Slow_Bug_Fix.rar
Copy the files on a bootable USB Drive / CD / DVD and boot with it.
At the CMD prompt there ( Pure DOS ) type:
nvflash -4 -5 -6 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.rom
read readme.txt from bz's file..its there...
if anyone needs help flashing, hit me up on msn for some pro hand-holding..
Flash them all.... :green1:

What are you using to pull apart the bios?
Couldnt you use whatever it is that you are pulling the bios apart with to edit the bios?

there is already a bios editor tool out there, after putting this bios in we can edit it in Nbitor?(or whatever that editor is called), put the new clocks in, save the rom and then flash it again, or maybe edit the bios in the tool from the beginning itself........
