Has anyone here taken the plunge yet?

I think the only thing holding anyone back is high PCIE freq testing. How do they cope with 110+? I'm sure when that gets answered you'll see some hardcore PCM5 benchin.

Two of the newer ssd drive's (VertexII, Crucial RealSSD) in raid0 will eat this puppy alive.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear guys. It's 2 of the newer drives + a controller will eat it alive, but if you take the controller out of the mix it will be give or take and this Revodrive is cheaper then 2 Vertex II

Why not just make this with the SATA III interface? I know the current jMicron SATA III controllers suck but I bet it would fly with a controller??? Maybe even make it like the Acards and have two sata plugs?

Yeah man, not accounting for the $600 controller to make those two vertex 2's really sing, the tables turn sharply.

From my POV, SSD's are a joke and will be until we see the sataIII action like chuch mentioned. Seems really stupid to me that there isn't a WHOLE generation of SIII SSD's available and where already 2 generations in with motherboards that have (shitty) SIII control.

Id say wait for the real WD SSDs to drop soon. They are actually made by WD unlike the blue lable ones they have out now.
