Very nice looking. Uses the same big weirdo plug that Antec tpq-1200 does. I'd buy one.

Sorry guys....normally I'd break the seal and take a gander, but I'm not in a warranty voiding mood right now.

I thought I'd try RMA'ing my P55 Classy and give the nice folks over at EVGA a good laugh. The email they sent me today essentially said this: :taunt::rofl.

You know it's bad news when THEY send pictures of YOUR rig back to YOU.

Just in case I forgot what it actually looked like, I guess.

Hell yeah it would.... If that came to fruition I would hang EVGA banners all over the shop and push their wares like a drug dealer. :D

Tee hee. Two choices for that board.

1) The trash.
2) Play the $8 shipping lottery trying to get lucky.

Believe it or not, I put about 5 hours into cleaning it while chatting with the in-laws. Figured that chances were slim of successful RMA with dielectric grease in the socket anyway - so didn't want to waste any more time on it.

well $65.00 to replace the socket even if its got grease in it, but all teh crap on the board, tahts another story lol

I asked vince about the sr2 supply, he said shammy modded it to 40 amps or something. Not sure if he meant just that one he was using or if he changed the design a bit. Maybe punx would know

ocp per rail is higher than 40A ..only the gulftown will trip it. if you have super high voltage.
