So after approximately 6 years of not using ebay I decided to give it another try. So this is what is incoming to my house.

Now my Bday is quickly approaching and the wife asked me what I wanted for my Bday. So I will have an F1E inbound soon.

Less than $600 with shipping and has a garranty not to be DOA. Considering a new pressurized dewar 60l is around $2200 to $2800 and as long as the vacum is still good it appears to be a good deal. Hopefully I will have it before next Friday so I can get it filled and checked.

We'll see how lucky I am once the wife finds out I bought my own gift. I will have to have her order the F1E before this is delivered

Received tracking information today the dewar will be at the terminal Thursday. I may have to take the 1.45 hour drive to pick it up or make a detour on my ride home thurday. If all goes well I may be able to fill and test Friday.

The Dewar works perfectly. Holds 22Psi and stays good and cold. The vacum is fine I have had nitrogen in the tnk for up to 5 days without an issue. This is classified as a pressurized dewar so it builds pressure quickly. Once the tank get down to the half full mark it vents regularly to releive pressure. this is not aprobem for me however the wife gets a litttle upset at 3:00AM when it decides to blow off some pressure.

LOL I already explained to the women in my life about extreme cooling and said.. "should I be putting Nitrous in the car???" Same difference, except you will not die from me cooling and tweaking. (same rush from OCing anyway IMHO)

Cant say I will not drive my car into an abutment at 130MPh.. Oh I mean blow my HW to kingdom come :)

Oh, its' worth it :)

I saw a story about a noob who mistakely thought Nitrous was used to cool a cpu. He went out and got some and blew up his apartment when the cpu warmed up enough. Died at the keyboard. Can't find the story now.

Jeff after talking with you on the phone the other day have you had that pressure head checked out ?

As I was saying on the phone, the Taylor Wharton LD50 that I have holds pressure at 10psi rock solid, it also has never vented.

At 22psi I bet LN2 comes out like a jet, 10psi is bad enough LOL

I have had this last full refill of LN2 for over a month and lost almost no LN2.

When I do get it refilled to a full tank it does take what seems like a long time, hours actually, to build up enough pressure to get a good flow of LN2 out. I usually let it sit over night before use and all is good. I was told that when full there is very little space at the top for pressure to build up when full. Ron at Under The Ice has the same problem. I will have to ask hime if his vents also.
