First pic, something old, and, if you've ever seen one of these before - YOU ARE OLD :D I kinda sorta remember buying this as an upgrade to my Intel 12Mhz 286 CPU. My first pc type computer came with the 12mhz proc, a 20MB HDD , and a whopping 1MB or RAM (all for a measly $2,200 USD) . Also, a paper black monitor cause the color were outrageous expensive.

This was in the same board as the K6-2 is in though for the life of me I don't know how the AMD chip got there years ago :Dizzy: Did ya note the little wires that connect the pcb to the hsf - and is that not the cutest little HSF you ever did see :rofl:

Pic two, something new - 60GM OCV Vertex 2. Going in tonite.

Anyone know specs on the old CPU, please let me know - tks

Awesome investigative skills there Bro, sure does seem longer than 13 years ago :blink: So now I got a K6 and a K6-2 ... wonder if they're cold bug free :rofl:

Things sure have changed in 13 years huh :shock:

13 years from now I would expect we will be running Qubit CPUs, at least I hope so.
