Finally got around to installing this v-modded 4870 from Travis. Unfortunately, I'm having some difficulties running the card. The motherboard code says the card in malfunctioning.
Hopefully Travis can shed some light on it. Won't even post.

Supes try to get a voltage reading on the card when it tries to start up. I wonder if the trimmer is set to benching volts???

It would be the big suck if it's set for sub zero volts when you are on air :rofl :sign17::green8:

Sups,
try posting the card on sub zero temps like DICE or LN2
I had the card tuned for LN2 Benching when i shipped it to you.
do you have a multimeter handy to take a few voltage, and resistance measurements for me?

LOL, figured as much. Card's prolly toast. I got some pc repairs to do for some peeps over the next couple days. I'll pick up some DICE later this week if there's time.

naw,
4870 is one resilient SOB!
you could even solder the ground return lines and the card will be back at stock voltages and should boot on air/water no problem!
