Typical Liberal Kiki

on a different topic.....

did you watch Glenn Beck last night?

They sent a reporter and a guy with a sign that read "Obama is a Kenesian" and asked people to comment on it. To put this into perspective Obama is a kenesian in that he believes pouring more money into the system will make things better... hey don't ask me....

Anyway 9 out of the 10 interviews they showed, people were outraged that the reporter and the sign were "suggesting" that Obama wasn't born in the USA. "He has proven he was born in Hawaii and not Kenya" were typical of the responses.

Only 1 guy knew they were referring to a school of thought regarding economics, and he had no idea whatever if Obama was or wasnt'.

AND = this was at a rally on a college campus :P

We're doomed

Totally agree MD. Progressives were very smart in one respect. When they gave up the doobies and tie dye shirts they melted into the educational system. Many of those hippies are proffessors and politicians. I used to ask myself why they don't consider economics as one of the core competencies in school, but then I looked at who runs the schools and my question was answered. They don't want our kids to be truly educated in the ways of the economy.

Economics by far has the most important role in everyone's life. It effects nearly every aspect of it. Hell even war is nothing more than economics. It's not about killing the most people on the battlefield. It's about destroying the ability to produce goods to fuel the war. You destroy infrastructure and factories, the war is over.

I always used to wonder if liberals were attracted to education jobs because it fit with their mind set, or if there was a diabolical scheme behind it.
After watching Glenn Beck and doing some reading up I find out that my conspiracy theory wasn't a theory, the damned progressive have been setting this shit for 100 years.

Today they started printing another 500 Billion dollars in new money to devalue our currency. Another 500B is scheduled to come right behind it and we go into the ditch, only to be "rescued" by the progressives and the unions.

Gotta buy more ammo :P

I don't hate Obama. I don't like him either. Really didn't like McCann either of course that might be because of Sarah Palin who I really can't stand now. Didn't like Bush but thought he was amusing. What happened to Regan? We need another like him.

Hehe I have a love hate relationship with politics. I hate all politicians but love the strategy and game. Please don't take our political discussion Kal. I love to be able to talk about this stuff with my friends here and I think we usually keep it civil. Hehe usually.

At MD I have been saying that way before I knew who beck was. I have a love/hate thing going on with that guy too.

Travis you said it man. Old Ronald was da bomb. They just don't make them like that anymore.

Regan got old and died, or we'd have his ass back in there fixing this shit somehow... rofl...

Saw a bumper sticker today that had a picture of Oblah-blah on it and it said "It takes a Carter to get a Regan. There, I found my silver lining." I peed a little.

I come from a family where my father's side was Irish Catholic, and my mother's was Irish Protestant.... religion is a touchy subject in my house.... Shit can get too intense when that's involved.

i like the political banter around here... It tends to be hilarious.

Yeah. Religion when massive money is involved like churches and stuff gets crazy. Catholics especially. They really hate when you call them Witches cuz of the chanting and candle burning.

LOL

jk

(its how I roll ;) )

I love theological discussions. Problem is it is a big business and has been for centuries, so people get really emotional about it. Has nothing to do with spirituality. Spiritual people do not start wars. Business people and those that feel they might be wrong do.

Just saying.

TBH though I have not seen any political discussion on this forum so no need to ban it.

Yep, I would absolutely prefer Bush.

My only problems with Bush were that he was a lousy public speaker, and that he spent way too much of our money after saying he wouldn't. He was the target of a very effective character assassination campaign. Blows my mind how he got so demonized.

Carter wasn't even so bad. He just lacked the balls to deal with the Iran hostage affair. And paid dearly for it.

Had a love/hate relationship with Reagan that's turned into a bit more respect as I've matured.

Bush senior cruised into office as a placeholder with nothing to offer.

Voted for Clinton his first term, then gradually learned to despise him. Not the worst president we've ever had. But he was basically a Carter with enough narcissism to give him balls.

I only have one problem with Obama, but it's a whopper that trumps any other gripe I've ever had with a president. His overwhelming desire to turn us into a nanny state and thereby crush any independent spirit to succeed. He does it openly and doesn't mince words or intent. The problem is that he IS a good public speaker and has enough charisma to force it down our throats and tell us it's for our own good.

First off, damned straight I'd rather have Bush over B Hussein Obama, Thank god we had bush when 9/11 hit - Obama would still be trying to get Al Quida to sit down for negotiations, after apologizing of course

And I'm with Nip - we NEED Ronnie Back. I had high hopes for Fred Thomas, but, Ronnie was a friend of mine and Fred Thomas is no Ronald Reagan

McCain sucked too, but jeeezzz, how fucking obvious could Obama have been to be a commie socialist. Dame shame truth is McCain might not have been any better :Dizzy:
