Last night while arresting some pervert on the beach at the North Shore for exposing himself to a young girl, I saw for the very first time in my life a Moonbow.

It was a full moon and raining out over the ocean, clear sky over land and this crazy looking full arc rainbow over the ocean. Of course without a proper camera its impossible to capture the image on film/digital. But I gotta tell yah it was pretty eerie seeing something new and unfamiliar in this world of ours. It was very mystical and the normal spectrum of colors we usually see in a rainbow were different, sorta neonish.

This is the closest photo on the web I could find.

Actually, I found this one taken on one of our observatories atop a mountain Haleakala

See them all the time here. I live near the shore of one of the Great Lakes. It tends to impact our weather in strange ways.
