idk this seems like a useless everyday board but at the same time could very much be a great oc board if it's good...

Very nice indeed but I have moved on from this platform with no plans of returning unless for some reason a 6 core chip magically appears in my possession with a mobo. :) :(

crazy mobo but with 2011 coming around the corner I'll keep my 4-way classy...

Cant edit your post kiki, but if you quote this one you can get the correct way to embed youtube videos :)

Looks interesting, I will watch the video in a minute. Really curious what those connectors are down by the SATA ports.

You guys talk about socket 2011 . It will came late this year so no point looking on the 2011 now.

My thoughts on the mobo :

GBT wants to promote this mobo saying that is designed for ocers ! LOL!
A mobo with NF200 is NOT for ocers except you are looking forward to 4way sli benching.
No room for comfortable insulation around the 1st pci slot.

They did a really nice job around the cpu socket area . Much room to insulate :D:D That's good.
Neuro, these connectors are for extra pcie voltage. You need extra voltage while you're benching 4way sli or Quad Crossfire .

Don't want to see the price of it considering the start price of UD9 haha

Yeah I googled the ATXp1 and saw that. Looks like they are using SATA connectors instead of 4pin peripheral. Wonder what the reasoning behind that is? Maybe 3.3v rail is getting used for something...

Agreed! I mean how much better can it be than the REX or Classy? I don't think so. ;)

I installed windows via USB3 tonight :)

Saved me 5 seconds on install time, and that included a format :)

Total time to desktop? From naked drives ... 6 minutes 40 seconds :)

Going to work on getting a more accurate bench measurement based on single drives.

Well, it looks like it might be a bit better than both the REX and classy.
Hicookie said it's the best board he's ever used on fb

Well true, but so far the results he's got with it seem to go some way to supporting it.
Don't shoot the messenger.
And I only said it might be better in my own opinion based on the fact it's focused on OC, and it's got a lot of experience behind it.

it could better than the rex and classy but what's the release date and how far from 2011 is it going to be? not to mention the price gb's ud9 was what $700 on release. if the x58a is over $350 I can't see it doing well with the timeframe between it's release and 2011.
unless this board ends up being what the x48 is to 3d01 for 05,06, or vantage, which seems unlikely.

we will see a 2011 variant of this board, count on it

If Giga comes to the 2011 table with a contender within same dollar value as EVGA and Asus enthusiast boards I may take it for a ride .....

If it is priced out of the market then that's where it wil remain

this in a 1366 is simply too late to the party ..... I still have to get my P67 gamer put together then save for 2011 not to mention get set up for cold so I can try to compete with the new socket ......

Thats not to say those with the budget, may be stealing cups with this thing, if it is all that and a big bag of chips .... keep in mind you need a hot rod CPU as no board can help if you have a POS chip
