I just dug up an old cassette tape of when i was in a band in 1981. I played keyboards in this band and we were actually one of the hottest things in the area at the time. These song are the only 4 original songs that we ever recorded in the studio. I played all the keyboards /strings/synth and did back up vocals. All of the songs have copy rights. I'm going to dig up some stuff/pics for you guys to see.

Sorry right now the only way i can get the sound out to the web right now is my site. I'm going to do a slide show with it. Its a little rough but its really old. The name of the band was Skylar Steele. I'll explain that some other time.

The music should automatically play when the page opens. Remember it 30 years old. This music originally was on a reel to reel recorder then put on a cassette that i've had in a box for 30 yrs. I put it on a cd today and then ripped it to mp3.

It's all muscle memory, I've surprised myself at how quickly I've remembered some pieces after a about a year since I'd last played.

Idk. Its only windows Media Player. It should have sound. Ie9 not able to play Windows media player sounds?

Edit: Just installed IE9 and it works for me. I like the old IE better. Under add-on's check to see that Windows media player is enabled possibly?

Lol Yea i guess you could call me a hippie. Thoses were tough days to be in a rock band though. Disco was huge back then. But, there were plenty of night clubs featuring live bands. Famous? Well back then kind of. Now not so much. Although i stiill run into people that know me from back then. Funny shit cause most of the time i don't have a clue who they are. But they remember some good time they had with me. I just laugh and play along.

Thank you everyone. The songs were mixed professionally in a recording studio. If i remember correctly it was a 24 track studio. But the final mix was to a Reel to Reel recorder. Then we just made cassette tapes from that. There was nothing digital like we have these days. I have been thinking about calling that studio and seeing if something digital could be made up. I know the guy well and he actually played in our band for a few years.
