Sweet BZ.

I think it's unfortunate this card will not be able to compete with the 7970. Maybe they have something else up their sleeve we are not getting info on.

Late to the party

You're not getting any info.
The public won't until they want to.
The leaky sites got squat afaik.
The rest signed a harsh NDA and are playing with a card.

Performance-wise it's... :D

you ever going to tell us her name?

Her name is Peace and I don't think she likes me the way I like her :P

FWIW disregarding my very bad mood and morale at this very moment, the 680 is ahead of the 7970 in overall at 1080p.
The X3001 3D Mark11 score is real.
The game tests you've seen a few days ago from the chinese site are real ( they'll get better with the newer drivers, starting with the GF drivers v302.04 ).

Launch quantities will be similar to the 7970's.
Unfortunately the real deal ( GK110 aka 780 or GTX 666 on steroids edition ) won't appear anytime soon on the consumer segment ( there's a very slight chance of it being launched in July, but I wouldn't count on it at all ).
Depending on how things progress ( AMD-wise ), we'll be lucky to see it before November.
As of now, nVIDIA will more than likely chose to profit, profit outrageously by launching the GK110-based Tesla card ( i.e. selling a 200-250$ card at 2k$++ :D ).
