Hey all!
I just wanted to chime in on these SSD'S, before this I was running a single OCZ SataII witch was long in the tooth. ATTO on the OCZ said it was doing a good job about 450 MB Per Sec. on a good day (reads) writes fell of at around 200 MB.

So when I got my 2011 socket MB the OCZ didn't want to play nice with it, so shopping I went. I did not purchase another OCZ as they discontinued the one I had for (lack of a better word) junk. So I was not gonna buy another product of there's so I could not pair it up, my money tree is very small at the moment so I had to make a decision witch to get and had to get two of them ASAP.

I saw some good feedback with these Intel Cherryhill SATA III SSD'S 520 series.

I have not had a riad O in a while as I always was losing it on them damn Gig-A-Crap MB'S. I'm getting 10,000 MB per cycle both ways now in a raid O with these and couldn't be happier!
I'll post the ATTO scores latter as there on my other rig, in the MAN CAVE!! :ohcrap:

My OCZ score on its best day very cold

Yeah! I couldn't be happier!!! At the same price as the single Sata II OCZ hard drive I did well...............
Here's the intel ATTO score's keep in mind the OCZ was clocked as high as I could go on that set up, this is STOCK on the 2011 board. Still waiting for two more 7970 to unleash da furry.

Will do Duke, you want it over clocked or no? May I ask why that is so significant?

here you go Duke,
Keep in mind the first posting was a OCZ Sata II in ACHI mode over clocked, this is as you requested at a queue of 8 default settings. I think there was 30 processes in the back ground running.

this is in raid O with the block size set to 64.

You have to register at ATTO to DL it.

Vertex 4 is the new Indilinx controller that OCZ bought.

Back to philly... How do you "overclock" an SSD? an OCZ Vertex 2 peaks at 290 MBps reads and 270ish writes, so not sure how you were getting SATA3 speeds out of it, unless you were referring to a Vertex 3 drive..

A secure erase should bring it back to like new conditions BTW.

Most down loads are here(over clocking atleast) not sure they have ATTO. also Majorgeeks.com has a ton of software down loads MD.

For GPU BIOSES its MVKtech

@Neuromancer Sorry,
not the SSD over clocked but the system, my bad I had a few in me.

A secure erase should bring it back to like new conditions BTW. thanks I will try that :Hi:
