I think you can get better prices from newegg
PC P&C 750

Corsair 750

I would get the PC P&C myself if getting a 750w range PSU although the Corsair is also a fine unit, what are you looking to power with this?

Powering Core I7 Xeon, 6Gig ram, 4850X2, 3 HD's, case fans. Well the HX750 is modular and maybe better quality PSU then the TX750. I think it's more like the HX620

I think you need to get away from these little PSU's, get the Corsair HX1000 (if you like Corsair) for your pc and you won't be straining it to the point of melting connectors. What PSU were you using previously?

You need to plan for on down the line. I recently got out of my rut of buying PSU's. I started with a 600w. Not enough power so I bought a 750w. It in the end didn't have enough pcie cables so I bought a 850w. It had enough pcie connects but not enough power for what I had in mind as I planned on going subzero with quad GPU's so I was going to buy 1000w but went with the 1200w just incase I needed it in the future. I would go with at least a 1000w with plenty of pcie cables.

Yeah I would love to have one but my budget isn't much over $100 so even the $150 is pushing it. Plus my 2 day old board died, and I need to replace that too. But I won't even touch it till a new PSU is connected to it

Just ordered a 850HX it's supposed to be the shizzz. Even though I didn't really have money for one...

This PSU just came out, it's modular like the 620HX and 1000HX

I have got TX750W and tho only con in that it's not modular
so the HX750W will be the best choice for price/performance

I was going to get the Corsair HX750W, for me it didnt really matter it being non-modular, but then it went out of stock as I clicked place order, ended up getting the PSU in my sig. But it is a very decent PSU...

Enermax is supposed to be making a strong push in the psu market anyhow. Hopefully if you have probs, customer service will reflect that push.

I'm not saying its a bad PSU, I'm absolutely loving it. Just saying I was really looking for the Corsair :)...

Enermax has made some good PSUs for while now, just generally do not see them on Newegg, and you pay through the nose for them. I had a 850W galaxy that just smoked.

Had to upgrade my Silverstone 560W to power a OCed quad with OCed 4850s. Thought I killed it. Ran a single GPU for a while though until I could get my 900W :)

If you are extreme OCing, I would definitly take the recommendation and get a 1000W+ to handle future upgrades :)

(new GPUs are coming out soon :clapping: )
