but that'll be too too hot... ='(
and the cpu score is liek 65**

this sux!
i monna put a little more thermal on it when i am done with the test this week =)

Neuromancer 11-09-2010 05:50 PM

06 crashing on test 3 = CPU vcore as HC pointed out.

If heat is under 100C it should still run. Obviously the lower the better.

01 really needs high CPU score. Was asking about link fast modes the other day and Allen said it should help in 01 (because you can clock higher)

Also make sure to click the guides link on the left there is a link to Vivi's 3D01 school in there. Gives you approximate LOD settings for each bench and the right run order. I suck at 3D too TBH. I started off with a score in that area and managed to raise it over 20K points by following the guide :) But I was running a 4890.

EDIT: I was wrong.

Decided to go for broke tonight to try and beat my 23K wprime score on i7 920

Dropped to 32bit windows 7 to ease load on CPU and also decided to try HTT disabled.

I lost 70 points out of 23270

Have not pushed it past 220 BCLK, I know I can boot 230 so thats next :) I should probably install Riva so I can up the voltage on the 4890 and run like 1080 GPU lol.

Totally going to worth it to disable HTT for PCmark.

Dunno why I thought otherwise (guess all the multi-threaded tests)

kikicoco1334 11-10-2010 05:02 AM

yeah i monna redo everything starting from scratch with this setup not taking anyone's settings

kikicoco1334 11-12-2010 08:11 AM

got a good long sleep and now i am up and running again =)
i am hosting a event on the 24th of this month and i want this go perfect!
it's like a overclock/LAN party kind of thing

i monna be running 2 setups and i just don't know how should i run this...
here is what i am thinking...

-------RAM------- Corsair Dominator TR3X6G1600C8D
-------MOB------- EVGA E762 4 Way SLI Classified
-------VGA------- PNY GTX260 218

i have 2 power supplies
1. Antec TPQ-850
2. Antec EarthWatts EA650

but nether one of those have 2 2by4 power plugs, and the e762 is wanting 2 of them ...

mostly i monna be doing 2d or cpuz benching...
i will have around 30L of LN2 on the go! and temp gage is on the way
fueling the day before or the same day if they are gonna be open
is 30L gonna be enough for those 9 chips?
if not worst comes to worst i'll just overclock the 356, 631, 920, E6400

i am using http://www.antec.outervision.com as the power supply calculator, how accurate are they?

i am going to LN2 both the E762 and Commando
they are both first timers :taunt:

and should i be using a 650W power supply to overclock the Commando? or should i just use the 850 so it's gonna be out of the way...
and also how should i going by taking care the E762 board? it's needing 2 2by4 plugs and on both my power supplies it's only have one and one 2by2 plug :Dizzy:

Hondacity 11-12-2010 08:19 AM

you don't need 2 8pin eps connectors on the 762....on 8pin eps will suffice

kikicoco1334 11-12-2010 08:20 AM

i see...

hwo do you like my taking over the world plain?

Neuromancer 11-12-2010 08:42 AM

kikicoco1334 11-12-2010 08:51 AM
