or you short the green wire to ground with a staple and just use the switch ;)

MaadDaawg 02-09-2012 05:50 AM

The cable dealy works just fine for me, but this does look pretty neat. the bitspower one comes with LEDs... ooooooooo :D

ReverendMaynard 02-09-2012 06:00 AM

paper clip, green/black, electrical tape...win.

kikicoco1334 02-09-2012 07:12 AM

I normally do the one Splave and Rever said up there, just short the green with a wire and call it the day.
But i like LEDs, also we are not your normal everyday users......
(i don't think we are.....)

^yup do this myself

they been selling adapter cables for a long time now too..

Or Way back in the day I had a AthlonXP rig powered by a 110W and a90W PSU, I took a piece of wire and superglued it in to the top of the port on each pin 14 :)

punx223 02-09-2012 10:50 AM

the only issue you may see is with some modern PSU models and tyeh protections built in you will have to load the other rails besides 12V to ensure it will not shut down prematurely.
