Nice find :)

But doesnt work on Win 7 :(

Neuromancer 09-14-2009 05:25 PM

Doesnt? On OCF someone installed it on RTM 64bit. (They did not try actually imaging it though, just opened the app up and showed it working)

Buckeye 09-14-2009 06:06 PM

Well I am not sure about that download you linked, but I had purchased that same version awhile ago and tried to get it working on Win 7 64 RTM when I did my last rebuild, I made a post about that some where here...

It worked with the versions before RTM tho

You need to use the new version or Arconis True Image 2010 on Win 7 64 RTM, I am running that right now and its working great.

Ahh cool. Thanks for the info.

You can always dual/triple boot your bench machine and install it in XP/Vista than?

Buckeye 09-15-2009 02:58 AM

Yeah you could I guess but I don't see the point of installing it on a partition/OS that you don't plan on using all the time.

The reason I like Arconis is it does an incremantal backup everyday at 11:00am for me. Something happens to my Raid and I just pop in the restore disk, boot and select the image I want restored and I am back up and running with only a few hours of work lost.

When I sit down and finly get off my rear end to make OS Benching images I will use the restore DVD and make images from that.
