Asus 27 inch 1440
|
I bought this a few months ago. Best investment in a monitor I have ever made. Come straight from Korea in perfect condition when I got it. I went from a 27" Asus to this and its night and day. Running it at 2560x1600. That's actually my review on it. And, I finally figured out how to change the language on the screen so it's in English.

I have a 1440 IPS and love it, sure Duke's is off the hook, I use mine for gaming as the color gambit os rediculouse
I use a fast 120 Hz TN for benching, not sure it helps, I think it has a placebo effect ..... |
You're the one who recommended it (Crossover) to me. Superlicious monitor bro!! IPS fTW.

No doubt about it ..........

Nice, looks like a replacement for my stoopid Apple Cinema 30". (NON_HDCP_COMPLAINT!)

Nothing, the 27" PLS will preform, the Crossover linked is a 30" monster 27 = 2560x1440 30 = 2560x1600 |

1440P is on my upgrade path too.
I just picked up a used HP LP2475W and I love it. IPS, it is not glaring bright, the colors are rich and deep. The connectivity is RIDICULOUS. Everything from s-Video to display port. AND while it does not have speakers it has TOSLINK passthrough for HDMI audio. And 6 usb 2.0 ports :) Plus it rotates, not that I will probably ever use that feature, but there has been a time of two I have run a 90 degree monitor. that 30" would be the balls, but I think I would rather get two 27"s (idieally if I could get 1440p in a 24" I would like that best :) Monitors and other I/O devices is the best way to increase happiness with a PC. Unfortunately they have gone the route of other PC components. So I need one wit ha USB 3.0 hub built in and supporting HDMI 1.4A or whatever the latest is. |
