Help with Ln2 (Air gas) dealer

Not sure the best way to find a Ln2 dealer around my area. I've tried doing a google search with hardly any luck :Dizzy: I'm from Cincinnnati, Ohio if anyone could help point me in the right direction I'd be most greatful.
Guessing I'd need to call places and see how much they chagre per liter. Also at the moment I'd have to rent a dewar, since I haven't found a dealer yet there's been no need to shop around for a dewar. However that can easily change if I find a Ln2 dealer near me :D

here ya go, not sure how close to home it is. Forget about renting a dewar though dude, they only rent out the big suckers and they bleed off fast. e-bay is usually a good place to find a dewar

Thanks guys really helpful, i haven't gotten to call and get any information as of yet. With the leads i have now im sure it will be no problem to find Ln2 somewhere...
What should i be ready to pay per liter?
Also I'm keeping an eye out for dewars on ebay, think i want to stay around 20-35 liter dewar. I've got some stairs to go up and down.

35L is a nice spot.

+1 on the 35 liters, anything larger would be too heavy for stairs. Amount you pay has a wild range unless you get in good with the Airgas people, or, know someone. I think their list price for a 35 liter is around $120. I get my 35 filled for $25 cause I had a connection.

Larger the dewar, cheaper the cost per liter due to cool down (LN2 they use to brind down the temp of your dewar. Never made sense to me that the smaller dewars would be more, but......

If you're a college student, check with the university

good luck

$120

in TX mine was $35+Tax.... now after so many its down to $30+Tax :P

but i asked if its larger will they charge less he said no :Dizzy:

and its also who you deal with had one time the younger guy charge me more i was like WTF and he didnt wanna bromg it down some bs they raised the price bla bla....

but next time got the older man charged me the same

MaadDaawg 05-16-2011 08:51 AM

Yeah, pricing (an fillinig) can depend on who does the work the day you're there. I'm in their computer though and in tight with the regional branch manager :D They charge me $25 for the 35 and $38 for the fifty, not counting the environmental crap.

Do you know they have to charge an environmental disposal tax even though the approved disposal method is opening the valve and letting it escape into the atmosphere???? Effin rat bastards in Washington dammit

The $120 is what's in the computer, but I doubt they charge anyone that amount
