WTF!! BITCOIN MINING

I'v already reallocated all of my Folding@Home resources :) earning me about $76.42 per day. I have not calculated power consumption yet its time to get more Kill-A-Watts although the extension cords are nice and warm :D
Next I will be bringing online the Folding@Work farm!!!!!!

BitCoins are a Currency for an internet economy they can be mined by using the processor and graphics cards ability to calculate mathematical "proofs" or create a "Bitcoin" with each Bitcoin worth *$9.30USD compensation is good. However a massive amount of computational power is required to find a Bitcoin. The best way to acquire coins is to build a PC with multiple AMD graphics cards for example One AMD ATi Radeon HD 6970 graphics card can can generate *$400.00 worth of BitCoins in about one month. To start join a Mining Pool like BitClockers.com, they offer daily payouts and monthly prizes. When you recieve Bitcoins you can Sell them at an exchange or use them anywhere accepted.

Does this work with only ATI cards? I read the instructins for the Phoenix miner and that's all that was mentioned?

Are you mining both with your CPU and GPU? If so, which miner are you using?

Damm dude, the power consumption has to out weight the pay :Dizzy:

how are you controlling temps in that room .... ?

cost of power is currently consuming 13% of the income. The cost of hardware is the biggest expense and takes about a month or 2 to pay off.
but if you have lots of hardware laying around like me PUT IT TO USE!
to keep the room cool I have a package Air Conditioning unit on the roo. it used to stay cool when CPU's were doing work loads but these damn GPU's are crazy!!!! To the left I have to keep the door Open :)

I am running the Pheonix miner on both ATi and NVIDIA GPU's. The ATi 5870+ and 6970+ series cards are about 4x faster than an NVIDIA GTX 580...

At the moment I am not using the CPU as a CPU is about 100 times slower than an ATi GPU.

Wow, not to bad, is the cooling consumption buil;t into the 13% figure

I have a ton of shit laying around, including some 4 and 5 series ATI cards ...

Rolling with the 580's these days for gaming ....

Random Thought ???? Why does Hawaii have interstate highways?

I have not considered the cooling from the package unit, this time of year it is normally running 24/7 till winter.

If you have spare cards laying around buid up a couple 4 GPU systems and see what u can bring in in a week. Otherwise I could take those 5 series cards off your hands :)
