Pumped out a few PCmark05 runs this weekend. Never really ran the bench. It was a real pain getting the OS to run the benchmark.
My Sandy 24/7 machine required Windows Media Encoder 9 32bit to run the benchmark although I'm running a 64bit OS.
The bench had far more issues. Needed to at least Media Player 10 on XP, or Media Player 12 on Windows 7 to run the benchmark. XP did not give me a good score so moved on to Tiny Windows 7. W7 didn't have a media player and the only way to get Windows Media Player 12 in W7 is in a bundle so.... poped in my W7 Home Edition, which included WMP 12 and installed WME 9 to run the benchmark. So much for old benchmarks
