Hard to get open boxes in Norway :( The asus mIIIf is the same price as E760

Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7, Socket-AM3, Mobo to get?

890 chipset does not support SLI, just crossfire?

Why don't you try the new Corsair AX850 PSU? GTX460's are fun little fellows but get a 1GB version. Preferably a MSI Cyclone.

I would leave the 1366 platform alone because you sound like me, been there done that. I'm looking into a 1156 platform right now. I would love to do a 6 core AMD setup but Crossfire only. :(

You can hack Sli on it, but if Sli is a selling point for you, don't even look at AMD. I'm getting the 1090T myself in a month or so, and I'm using a GB 790xta UD4 which has honestly been a great board, so the 890's should even be better.

Probably hit 5.7 - 6.0ghz with DICE on one if you ever go route. 6 threads for around $300 US seems like a no brainer.

It's just stupid of me to think about SLI and X-fire, cause I never use it anyway. Singel card is enough and the same fun. getting sli/xfire setups are expensive.

So maybe I should go with AMD this time, are they using Phoenix bioses on Gigabyte boards?
Is there any other boards on the AM3 platform which are worth looking at msi or asus?

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula, looks really good, but does it perform as it looks?

And what is the differense between 890FX chipset and 790FX chipset?

Anyway, how does this look?

I dunno, man. A pair of them can beat out a 480 for less $$$. that's a win in my book. Something tells me that the 460's will make a pretty big splash at the bot fairly soon.
