Default Laptop Shopping

HOla peeps,

I B lookin 4 a pwnage laptop to replace my old faithfull lappy that it having technical difficulties. I considered replacing the vga card but now I figure she's been a good ole girl and its time to let her move on to Hardware Heaven where the voltage is pure and there is no thermal shutdown.

I'd appreciate suggestions on mid-range to full-blown ludicrous speed laptops. I've already started browsing Eurocoms laptops but wonder how the long term stability runs. BTW their laptops are OVERCLOCKABLE!!!! http://www.eurocom.com/

I'm gonna go smurf DELL/ALIENWARE for now.

Never bought an Alienware...but know a few guys that have them and they are happy with them. As for Dell, I have bought 4 of them and haven't had any trouble out of any of them. Just depends on what you want it for really and I think they both make some pretty good gaming laptops these days... XPS/Dell and Area51/Alienware.

BTW.... My Dells aren't the XPS models so i'm not sure how well they game.

I know right? I found this thumbing thru a PC Gamer magazine someone gave to me at work while taking a dump last night. I nearly crap myself when I found it. Lucky I was on the pot at the time.

Did you ever get a laptop? How much do you want to spend? I told my friend to get that nice orange Gateway from BestBuy. It's a really good laptop, I got to use it. It has a 8800GT video, 4GB ram and P8400 I think for under a grand now

Nah, still up in the air on it, I got my 24/7 rig running so the need for a lappy kinda dissapated.
