That used to happen to me in Vista and XP, but never in Win7. May be a very painful remedy, but give Rom a call - I don't remember the fix but remember it sucked

Uninstall and reinstalled? I wanna say this happened to me a while back but can't be for sure. I do know that I had an error like this happening though.

i found this solution on another forum

Actually you know what worked!? I DID NOT have AHCI mode on...I was in IDE in the Bios. I had to edit the registry to enable AHCI in Win 7 then change to AHCI mode in the BIOS and restart. (after installing latest drivers for such)

Win64 you should have no probs, but I"m thinking the fix is worse than uninstall/reinstall Vantage ...

Tried installing 06? That has worked for me before.
