Haha, I like that mentality.
You can't be scared to pump it up
Am getting the paperwork for the dewar done tomorrow,
then find out exactly when I can use the room.
Then there's nothing that can stop me! (apart from money, and work )

Good luck and have fun! Best advise is to start your way up slow and OC at temps about -40 to -50c apart. I always run benches at diff temps when im pulling the pot down to sort of "break in" the system cold. -45c to -50c (single stage temps), -70 to -75c (DI temps), -100-120c (cascade temps) Then onto max temps teh system can handle. Going for broke at the onset almost always results in a bad session..

hehe I never imagined you being the slow and steady type. Especially as fast as you work when benching.

Its hard to resist sometimes believe me , but that most definitely the best way to operate especially if your dealing with a piece of HW that has any kind of cold issue.

Thanks for the encouragement
Am popping down to a couple of supermarkets tonight, while I'm there I'll have a look for flasks, 1litre suitable?

Good good, just got myself 1 for the moment
After kenny said he bought 2, but hardly ever uses it.
Can always pick up another if I find the need.

Well, finally managed to have a session
Not good at all
While I didn't kill anything, I couldn't get faster than my SS scores
I'm presuming a bad mount, although I remounted and it didn't change, not sure what I should have done to improve the mount tbh.
Temp sensor was too high up the pot methinks, as it would say -100, but the LN2 would boil off as soon as you poured it in, within seconds at times.
Then it decided that the temp was 20/21, and so just did the rest by keeping the same amount of LN2 in the pot, with no idea of temperature.
After giving up on the e6300 tried the e2160, and managed a slightly better cpu-z of 4410 rather than 4303.
Still, not a happy bunny
Plan to have another go on friday and maybe monday though,
Any tips, could really do with some help
