Yes it is. With the PCP&C you pay for the name and rep too. Probably still my all time fav PSU though.

That zippy is a dual rail though, gotta be a little careful with that.

The Ax1200 is under $300 too

Nah. If you can't load balance with 50+ amps per rail available to you, you probably wouldn't be buying this type of equipment.

Just pointed out that he would have to balance if using it for benching. With a single rail no thinking required.

EDIT: Oh BTW, the EVGA SR-2 is a Antec Quattro just rebadged for EVGA.

Multi rails have certain advantages in certain situations. Single rail isn't the end all beat all. Everything has it's own niche.

The SR2 has two rheostats that I don't think the Quattro has, but I could be wrong.

Don't mind thinking if there's an advantage to the multi rail, and for the price you can't beat it, other than the fact that its fuckin ugly that is

So far, the Corsair is in the lead, and I am curious why.

Is it basically a function of price, or, do you believe (and/or) know that the Corsair gives cleaner power than the turbo cool does?

Or do you like it for the quiet fan?

Please elaborate on your vote - tks
