The fans are acually cut and mounted to the pc case side panel. I didnt want a bunch of whirling fans to spoil the clean lines of the unit.

Looks sweet Rick. Nice clean job. My only complaint is that the PSU sits on the bottom of those cases. I've had to many water cooling loops leak and the water always goes to the bottm of the case and that scares me. Of course now i dont use zip ties in cases any more so that probably wouldn't happen. In fact i don't even use a case. lol

Urgent update! I may have to disassemble the COSMOS after some testing I did this evening with a Boreas unit.

While the water cooled COSMOS does an admiral job @ 4.5GHZ, the temps are a tad on the warm side when taxed. When running the "Checkers" benchmark for 3-1/2 hours the core temps would spike in the low 70's.

Testing the Boreas on the torture rack I was astonished...temps were cut literally in half! I am 2-1/2 hours into the benchmark atm and the core spikes are at 52c/49c/52c/46c @ 4.5GHz, 1.43 vcore, 1.37 vtt. Doing a little Elmer Fudd dance here if you can picture that...

I have nothing optimized yet, and I am ready to swear off water for good. Stay tuned for more updates.

Whats Boreas, that thing in your pic looks like a water cooled setup to me?

Very good Ricks, I like those units and have thought about getting one for some time for my main rig.

We have simply to much dust here in the central valley for me to even consider a high end water cooling setup, fans and Rads would just clog up to fast.
