As a couple of you know, we've moved out of my very small apartment and into military housing. Since we'll be doing another tour here in Hawaii and have another baby on the way we decided it was time for more space.

Took a small storage area in the garage and converted it into a project/bench area. A place I can call my own

With a few pieces of scrap 2x4s, a pre-cut piece of plywood from Home Depot and Whala...

I introduce to you, "Benchspace"










Looking at building a shelf in a similar fashion 3-4 feet above the desk. Other than that its pretty much done. Well, except for getting my grubby hands on hardware and finding the time to bench again

Couple coats of Minwax wood stain and she is sitting pretty.

Maybe I'll tackle the shelf next weekend.
