Default Futuremark MSI VGA Overclocking

5870 Lightning Challenge

To celebrate the release of the R5870 Lightning graphics card, MSI challenges all overclockers around the world to show that R5870 Lightning is the fastest single-chip VGA card available.
Timeframe:
Contest runs from February 25th, 5pm GMT to March 25th, 5pm GMT.
Benchmark and settings:
Contestants must use 3DMark Vantage with the Performance -preset.
Participating benchmark submits should be submitted to ORB and published for verification.
Results must use Futuremark approved drivers.
Hardware requirements:
Contestants must use a single copy of MSI R5870 Lightning graphics card with no other graphics cards in CrossFire.
All other hardware used must be publicly available. Engineering sample hardware is not allowed.
Determining the winner:
Highest score fulfilling the criteria for entering Futuremark's Hall of Fame wins.
Prizes:
Winner will receive a prize of US$1,000
Note: you may be required to pay taxes, check your local laws.
Precision Challenge
Quote:
The Precision Challenge is open to all 3DMark users using ATI graphics solutions. The goal is to hit exactly a weekly changing score target.
Timeframe:
Contest runs in four weekly periods starting 5pm GMT on February 25th, March 4th, March 11th and March 18th.
Benchmark and settings:
Contestants may use 3DMark03, 3DMark05, 3DMark06 or 3DMark Vantage for this contest.
Contestants may change any benchmark settings to achieve the target overall score.
Approved drivers are not required.
To qualify for the prizes for reaching the target, results must be submitted to ORB and published for validation.
Hardware requirements:
Contestants must use an ATI HD 4000 or 5000 series graphics card.
Determining the winner:
The first result with the exact target score published within the weekly period wins the weekly grand prize.
Prizes:
Weekly grand prize is an MSI R5870 Lightning graphics card.
All contestants who submit the exact target score within the weekly period will win a free copy of Shattered Horizon from Futuremark Games Studio.
In addition, an MSI R5770 Hawk graphics card and a GlacialTech cooler will be drawn weekly among all users with a valid score for the Precision Challenge. Scores do not have to be published to qualify for the lucky draw.

Yeah I have seen this challenge last week already but to fin the card is just not really possible. Once again the doods with the good connection will be able to bang it in for themselves.

I've been googling and checking newegg daily looking for one of these bad boys.. no sightings yet I wrote to MSI sales telling them I JUST HAD TO HAVE ONE, but they never responded... the bastards

Would that be luxury tax or income?

either way it's between $300 and ~$500 smackers..... lol. Depends on where you live.
