Default Radiator Capabilities

I'm putting together a new gaming/work rig with a w/c Classy & 980X and two w/c GTX 580's.

I have one 3x140mm Feser Monsta rads mounted at the top of the Corsair 800D and I have a Thermochill (the new kind) 1x120mm sitting on the bottom of the case between the power suppliy and the extra HDD drive bays. Dual D5's in that new Koolance 2 bay rasv so I could run 2 loops or 1 loop with 2 pumps.

Problem is, I'm thinking the 1x120 won't do much more than the chipset w/o the CPU while I'm also worried that the 3x140 Monsta may not be up to both the CPU and the GPUSs. Am I wrong about either of these?

I also have a Feser Duo 2x120, but I would either have to mount it on the back or cut out the lower HDD cage and slip it in the bottom.

Would appreciate some feedback since it's been awhile since I've undertaken a serious water build

thanks Bros

I still have the two feser quads, but I'm trying to keep this one sophisiticated looking

How about a Watercool Mo-Ra?

German made, here is a thread showing the latest offering of a standalone external unit which is very classy...right up your alley Jim. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=249667

Very Nice Rickss. I'm building a watercooled system myself as well - and i'm fairly new at building them. Know a good reliable place to get a Mo-Ra? would like to check it out.
Have some waterblocks in mind, but what would you guys pair with something like this?

Been looking at the Swiftech H2O-220 (dual 120s) & 320 (triple 120s)... and EK's equivalent for the i7 & dual EVGA GTX 570 SC based system that I'm putting together.

Thnx for the post MD

The H20-220 is a great little starter kit, especiallyh back in the societ 775 days. I've known people to use them on i7s too though. Good pump, good CPU block, just the rad kind of sucks Can't go wrong to use it to get your feet wet

Ahhh

So let me see

1 - 3x140 ?
1 - 2x120
1 - 1x120

Is that correct

if so ....

Personally I would use three pumps, just a little pisser for the chipset with the single 1x120

3x140 GPU's and th 2x120 for the CPU

All on there own loop

2x120 I doubt would be able to hold down 2x 580's at a decent clock ...

I would also look to get as much Volume in the CPU and GPU loops to the tune of dual bays for each loop and just a micro or even a fill port for the chipset ....

So what would you guys use for rads/pumps or whatever?? I was actually leaning towards the H20-320 triple over the dual - that is before I caught a good look at the MO-RA3. I'm after the highest stable overclocks I can possibly get on a watercooled system. Looking at the 2600k so far unless something better comes out before purchase - the cpu & gpu's will be the last things I get. Whatever I get I'd definitely be swapping out the fans for maximum airflow - I'm talking 90CFM or higher if possible.

I'm also looking at the EK-Supreme HF (high flow) waterblock for my cpu & something pretty darn close in performance for the nb/sb chipsets as well.

What would you guys do for the cpu & gpu's as far as watercooling goes? and why? -if you don't mind my asking. I'm just after the most reliable watercooling system possible (not a "starter kit") - even if I have to piece it together myself
