Default Ever have multiple processes sucking up resourses in task manager??

This is the place!!! I had around 20 instance of a Fake Google Chrome in task manager. It was sucking up memory like nobodys business. I have 16gb of ram and my pc kept telling me I was low on memory. I found these guys and they fixed it. An excellent job!!

Yah, been there on more than a few occasions. Those pesky fake memory hog processes are a pita. I usually can't remove the bug and end up with a fresh install. My wife's parents (79yrs n 72yrs old) constantly click/open bad links like its an easter egg hunt.

I also notice heavy network traffic on the machine like its acting as a node or just uploading everything on the harddrive.

Might be worth a shot going there with it? Or have you already?

Meh, throwing in the towel. I did a bunch of scan/fix work and even manually located offending files but somehow this damn thing keeps reproducing.

Factory image to the rescue!
