oklahoma wolf tested the ax1200 @ jguru
jguru tested the hcp 1200 @ jguru

hardocp psu tests are equal to jguru tests...and i say better..since they do transient tests with load...

used mine with the x-power 2 days ago, thing is a monster!@!%

I like:
Switch
tons of cables
modular is nice
knowing im not underpowering anything
they went back to a standard psu plug but kept the monster gauge chord

Dont like:
half ass sleeving
wish the 24 pin was connected and not a 20+4
same with the second cpu 4+4
kinda weird blue color but (nitpicking)

Sounds like my refrigerator when it clicks on rofl

editor: cmaris from greece

look at the 12v result....before and after 50% load is applied. the editor has already inquired with corsair about the huge drop from the 12v rail. i'll post what he finds out. but im posting this in comparison to our mighty hcp1200

hardocp did a transient test but didn't reveal this.

anyways transient response tests how power supplies react to a change in load. most just pass. hcp1200 is ranked best when it comes to transient response. 2nd is my mj1100

that should be fine...TR or transienst response is ok based from older reviews from [H].
voltage regulation is ok. ripple control is the best.

only thing i don't like on that psu is the fan lol....

with a gulftown and two 580s...that should still be good...
