Question [Socket A] could very much be a retarded question

is taking a socket a chip down sub zero with dice or LN2?
i been on the bot and digging around, and most the people are using air, some water and stage, VERY LITTLE amount of people uses dice or ln2 what's up with that? or am i missing something?

No, not too many do that but it's no prob to do like anything else.

I'm not sure how well they'd respond to -0 temps since I don't know how prone they are to have a cold bug.
Sounds like you're wanting to at least use DICE with yours - It is good to see some interest in the older stuff and nothing wrong with that.

kool man!
i monna try it out soon as i get the bios chip from Mr.Scott gonna put it under dice again..
i have already put it under dice once but didn't get much out of it...
but that's when i didn't have the ram yet

last time i didn't ran in to any cold boot bug issues...
so it's gonna be very interesting
and now i know a little about overclocking now

Hey man, good luck with it.
Mr. Scott should be delivering the goods soon for you to give it a test run.

Nice list of chips you have and some of those should be some good clockers.

I think it might be more to do with the HWBot was not around back then? I seem to recall guys freezing theres back in the day.

Quick google search

Guys complaining that using LN2 on a Barton core to hit 3.5GHz is unrealistic. LOL
