Well, I've reached a decision cool2 I'm RMAing the NF200 classy and the replacement should be here in 1 to 3 days (overnight EAR). The Hydro Copper will go on the bench... all this at least to start.
I noticed, to my horror, that even after mounting the Bitspower Moffset water block, there are still two moffsets that ONLY have passive air coolers
So I ordered a Bitspower chipset Black Freezer which extends far enough to cover these two moffsets, and of course, another black freezer moffset block. SO, when the new board and new blocks arrive (should be Wednesday) I'll get to work replacing the passive coolers with the water cooers.
Meanwhile, I'll install the new 760 Hydro on the bench cause a fan will point straight down on the passive sink anyway. This board will most likely get my TRI SLI 285 Hydro Coppers and teh phase unit.
Meanwhile, the newly watered NF200 Classy will go inside a case, where the extra cooling is most needed. Dilemna here is I'm thinking of putting in Quad SLi 295s that are air cooled?? Will probably mix and match the cards anyway, but jeez, wish I could afford another 400 bones to water the 295s too :(
Problem is, moving watered cards is a royal PITA, air is so much easier ... Maybe after awile, I'll swap everything around and then be able to get apples to apples comparisons on numerous benches.... now that would be cool, but a lot of work
