Default help with sub-timings please

I have this kit with the MSI Big Bang and a 920DO.

Just passed 32m @ 955MHz with 7-8-7-22-78. It passes @ 1050MHz with 7-9-7-23-78. I have no clue what I might want to adjust beyond those 5.

Thanks for the help.

What I do is find out where the auto subs are set. Then you just go one timing at a time testing until efficiency goes down or the run is bugged. Then it's either more vdimm or loosen the timing back to where it works.

Seriously?.........there is 22 sub-timings in cpu-tweaker(actually 2 are greyed out)

What do you use to test for efficiency?

Where should I start lowering things for better efficiency? Any suggestions would be excellent.

Elpida is the company that makes hypers.

Oddly Google can not find that model number anywhere on the web :S

K2 K3 I can find not Kx

Loking at HyperX t1s in that range there seem to a be a couple. Newer sticks DEFINTLEY not hypers.

KHX2333C9D3T1K3/3GX

Definitely not hypers. 2000 9-10-9 JEDEC.. 9-11-9 at 2333...

Could be any number of elpida chips I am not a RAM guy, I do not recommend cracking them kingstons use thermal tape to hold the spreaders on but you would need a heatgun and pressure to get them back on. not like ADATA that actually glues them on. (ugh) Ripped the ICs right off my adatas. Still, it is pretty easy to figure out which ones they are though by running them. Compare your results to other peoples that have cracked them

That is the correct model#...I mistyped it in the previous post. What do you mean they are definitely not Hypers? I'm more of a ram newbie than you.

Thanks for your help bro.

EDIT: here is what it says on the visible part of the pcb.............

front it says: JEDEC RC/AO.72, and at the other end: 94V-0

back it says: 2025402-OF1.COO, and the other end: VIC 5A and 1015
