Default Wanna watch me OC my 965BE to 6.6GHz?

7 minute video.....Enjoy. I don't know if there is a more appropriate place for this, just let me know.

Later I was able to boot it @ over 6.2GHz.

And if anyone wants to see the failure video from the night before, I'll be happy to post it too. I cannot help but sit there and laugh....probably not as funny to anyone else, but there is good music...............

I always had at least 1 fan going and I had my whole board covered with paper towel so I didn't think it was really falling on the board, but the board was so cold it just grew on the exposed parts. I definitely need to insulate the base of the pot better and use more kneaded eraser.....or something. I must insulate better if I want to run that cold. Maybe more fans are in order.

Last time I had little or no frost build up, but I did not run the 939 chips anywhere near as cold as I ran these Phenom IIs so I think that's most of it. I filled the pot and kept it pretty much full for hours. Took about 2 hours for the pot to warm up enough to reapply TIM when I switched chips.

Yeah it's fun.

I saw your pictures in the gallery and it looked like your memory and everything was all covered in frost. Do you just cover everything with vaseline? Memory and all?....I'd do it if it works.

Because my board got this frosty and I don't want that to happen again. It'd be nice to run dual channel and run some benches. I think I'll get it good with eraser and blue insulation when I put my mind to it.

so anyways, after that I made sure everything was warm and dry, I popped the 1090T in there with alot more eraser and 2 layers of insulation on top of the eraser I put in the empty dimms. I took pictures after pouring an equal amount of LN2 in there, probably about 8 liters or so and the pictures will be a striptease of sorts......I'll take one piece off at a time and show you what it looks like.

EDIT: the pot is ~-100C when I took it off.
