I have owned a couple of Rams, I like them fine. Currently tooling around in a '05 F350 diesel 4x4 crew cab. (6.5' bed) 5.7L powerstroke turbo diesel.

Dual axial suspension means city driving is ROUGH. Need new shocks already, the smallest bump sends my springs up into the bed lol. But... Load a couple tons in it and it purrs. No reduction in performance (thanks diesel) and the suspension gets to ride fully on the springs smoothing it out a bit

Getting ~15MPG at 2.00 a gallon right now, blend of city and highway. Too many short distance jaunts for the diesel to really optimize though.

Does anyone know anything about lift kits ?

Have been looking at the Rough Country 6" lift

http://www.roughcountry.com/dodge-su...-kit-324c.html

Reading 37" tires would fit with out ribbing ?

I hear rough country rides, well, a bit rough. Not the best quality shocks in the kit but you can always upgrade them. I have OME (old man emu) on my jeep and they are awesome. 5" lift.

Thanks man, went ahead and bought the kit.

Appreciate the heads upon the shocks

I will post some pics once it is installed, only have 33's now, but hoping to get 37's once I can afford them

Not a diesel guy

you guys know anything about exhaust systems ?

Looking at a Flowmaster Outlaw , the stock singe pipe on my truck is very conservative.

looking for a low pitched tone , not ridiculous but powerful sounding

I had a Flowmaster but don't remember which one it wasn't to loud but I has the dual tip rear bumper

Which you can probably still run dual which would look nicer lol

I've never had a diesel but I think if you want a truck that's the way to go but you already got it so don't lesson to me lol
