The pot. If one platform doesn't behave or just not getting you anywhere then heat the pot up with the torch enough to get it free from the socket. Turn your oven to the lowest temp and bake your pot for about 15 minutes or so. You can bake the foam insulation and all. Then when it is all thawed out mount it to another platform and try it. I would just hate to see you put all your eggs in one basket and it not work for you. That is why I said prep all your mobos in case one doesn't work for ya.

Make sure you do plenty of insulating with your eraser. LN2 gets way colder therefore freezing more parts of your mobo. I would insulate from your 1st RAM socket to your mosfets and from the top of the mobo to the north bridge at least. Stuff a blue paper towel in your 1st RAM socket as well if it isn't being used. Don't forget to insulate the back of your mobo as well with eraser. Do a good area of it.

I'm at work but when I get home I will post up a pick of my insulation job I use for LN2 as well as my bench table setup with the full sheet of foam insulation on the back of the mobo.

Gloves smoves... we don't need no fuckin gloves : Well honestly, I do when pouring

The Dr was kind enuf to refer to the insulation, but nowhere in the thread is any insulation discussed other than the eraser, which is fine for SS but not for LN2.

You also need shop towels (lay over the eraser) = cut them like gaskets
Closed cell (?) foam Gasket for around socket (same stuff you put around the pot.

If you bought you pot from Kingpin you'll get enuf of this stuff to start.

Kinpins website has an excellent LN2 insulation guide in their help area

Go for it Bro

(safety goggles might not hurt either)

And... a trigger activated propane torch to pull down the pot occassionally

GO BRO

here's some facts:

1. 1Liter of nitrogen = 694 liters of nitrogen gas
2. nitrogen is heavier than oxygen. babies might get deprived of O2 if they're in the room..you standing might be ok..but babies on the floor might not be.
3. the garage is for parties.

Garages are cool when it is cool outside, not when its hot. If you do it inside just open a window or two. Keep kids a way as a precautionary measure.

Kids and pets. If hot outside, fans in the window, if cold outside fans in the window. If hot or cold outside A/C is preferable in the window
just IMO :
