Simple, the word used is GPU and not card. 4870x2, GTX295 and 5970 are all dual GPU's so will compete with the likes of 2 x 5870, 2 x GTX285, this has been discussed in the hwbot thread........Also a single guy can only compete for 1 Global category for a particular benchmark. Which means you can pick 4 x 5870, pick a benchmark like Vantage, get the best score for 4 GPU category and Global Points, but your score for 3, 2 or 1 GPU will earn you only hardware points. So basically from 2 Global Categories(1 card and Multiple Card) for each 3d benchmark there will be only 1 Global Category in rev3.......
