X-Power with a 920DO. I dislike the little gadget thing.

EDIT:...........the gadget might not be so bad now that I found a good place for it and I don't have to hold it in my hand like a video game controller.

The tolerance of this board using the gadget thingy for increasing clocks seems pretty good.

Take note of the peripheral voltages at stock clocks then set them manually yourself in the bios, then start your oc process focussing on the vcore initially, then things like qpi/vtt later.

Thanks guys.

My board is an MSI X-Power Big Bang. Here are the main BIOS screens that I have questions on.

I think I see the reason why it crashed @ only 3.3GHz........probably due to the memory timings being too tight.

The following is a list of safe voltages given to me, but I'm not sure which ones some of them are in my BIOS.
EVGA VDroop Control = Without VDroop
CPU VCore = 1.5
CPU VTT = +175mV (1.2 to start)
CPU PLL VCore = 1.845
IOH PLL VCore = 1.845
QPI PLL VCore = 1.40
Dimm Voltage = 1.68
Dimm DQ Vref = +0mV
IOH VCore = 1.375
IOH/ICH/ I/O Voltage = 1.575
ICH VCore = 1.225
I need to know which is the VTT for starters. And also which is the IOH PLL Vcore? And what is DIMM DQ Vref? I think I can figure the rest of them .

CPU VTT is also known as QPI/VTT and QPI/DRAM.....that doesn't help me.

Dammit I figured QPI was going to be VTT, but that leaves me wondering about other voltages.

One at a time I guess. I feel like a total clueless rookie here, some things are starting to make sense though.

Thanks.

1.55vCore
1.6vtt (board has bad droop, this will equal low 1.5's)
1.65cpupll
1.7vdimm
IOH and ICH you can bump up a bit from stock

I will throw XP on my xpower and d0 920 and join you in the struggle. What temps are you benching at?
