I haven't seen this one in person yet but I am a Samsung man. Every TV and monitor in my house is a Samsung. Phone too. They have one of the best contrast ratios out there. That thing looks nice!

What's the refresh rate on it? Didn't see it in the specs.

1080p at 27" are you going to be sitting right in front of it? My 28" 1920x1200 res I sit in front of but I mainly bought it as a bedroom HTPC monitor.

It is great for that.

TN better for gaming (response times) but for IQ go pva or IPS.

I have the Samsung T240 which is the 1920 x 1200 24in format. LOVE it for gaming and surfing. Saw the one you're looking at at Costo and was real tempted... don't really need it though

Looked real good in the store

PS.. mine sits about 15 inches in front of me... perfect picture

personally, I'd sacrifice a bit of screen real estate and grab a 1920x1200.

Never been a fan of Samsung, almost through one of their techs through a wall when he told me the "HGTV" (wife watches it, not me lol) logo burn-in on a Plasma was normal and that it's not covered under warranty.

When you're that close, 1.5 inches isn't going to make a difference homie, but the higher res will. Less need to use high AA is good!
