Default Kombustor

I ran the burn in test on my two 5870s in BlaakHaart and am not too pleased with what came back.

Showed GPU0 staying around 32C while GPU1 climbed up to 67C - If I'm reading that right my beautiful vid loop has a major flaw - or - the OEM card I bought off of flea bay has a major flaw

Couldn't be my design so it must be the card :

Considering the variation between the two GPU water blocks, I'm not sure I can do it any different. Follow the loop below, my intent was to have it in parallel. goes in via the hose on the right front, then around the loops, and out through the hose on the left front

I mean, WTF

shit

Damn... think I see the prob Fortunately, the fix looks rather painless, it's just that it's such a work of art as it is

My guess also. There is no way you'll have a 35c swing between two cards plumbed that close. Maybe 10c at most, and I don't even think that much. Assuming that you didn't botch the block mounting on one.

umm.. I beg your pardon :

the loop may be too pretty

Fortunately with the twist of 2 quick disconnects I can remove the cards from the case and safely replumb.

Thanks WD - didn't know that, I'll check out Furmark before I do any work... I love the way this loop looks Too much HGTV for me I guess

hey.. with all thoe fittings

snakes, dual snakes, angles, right angle, femail/male, male/male, female, female

and not ONE LIEAK I'd say I did a good job plumbing

The design may be flawed, but the plumbing is flawless

We'll see what Furmark says - it did seem strange that one chart didn't' move al all while the other climbed, so we'll see what Furmark concludes. THEN, I'll take my lickings (unless of course it involves a cute female, in which case I'LL do the licking : )

Besides, I DIDN'T HAVE TO TELL YOU I could have fixed what needed fixin and never mentioned it.. soooo... I ain't scared of you
