my 5.7 cpu is from the 45th week in 2011....pretty much brand new.....got another one here as well.

second cpu is untested though.

So mid-november, when was 2700K launched??? Dont know why I feel after the launch of 2700K, batches have gotten a little worse. Or maybe my already fucked up luck has,

maybe all 2500k shipped to india are no good?? haha

heard there were no good 2700K in the US at all...

Idk my batch haven't even looked but I got very lucky

Had got a 2400 to have a daily rig but it oc for crap and 25k where sold out on newegg they came back in stock sent it back and I ended up with a 25k x59 cpu lol

^ so damn lucky!

never once has newegg given me anything past 56X :(

tested almost 200 here.. lost count at 170s.. (so far sold 2x58.. killed one 59X.. left with one 58X.. walls at 5830).

like splave said.. shit chips are shit no matter what. However some lucky guys get chips that respond well to cold (supposedly) where they report max multi @ 56 or 57 and when under ln2 (-60 to -90C) all of a sudden, shabaam.. extra 200-300 mhz.

I still don't know how this is possible since i've tried and no chips i've ever had done that. (ex.. i think canna1988 59X was like that)

lol im on number 8

so far the odds have been pretty good.

gonna stick to the 2500's as i hear they are the way to go.

just got a new chip as well, batch 3147B095

still need to test
