Default Corsair A70 HSFs

Testing the new Corsair A70.

The A70 is a monster HS that comes with two fans mounted on snap on coulings in push / pull configuration.

I mounted one on my 965 sitting on top of a Classified 759 in a HAF case. Even running at 4.2G the HSFs maintains a nice mid 40C temperature for prolonged periods of time.

Great, easy to do mounting system too.

I'd give it

dunno, it's in the basement right now where it's cooler, I'll get back to you once I bring it upstairs - and besides - mid 40Cs I thing I said

Note this is not intended to be a bencher, this is going to be my business rig. Vcore at 1.39 which in itself is amazing for a 965 lol

Okay, upstairs where ambient is around 77F. I think this A70 does a damn good job - 4 huge pipes and a gigantic HS.

Pipes can get bent or because of really bad abuse, the working fluid can leak out from the pipes making it close to useless.

Mounting not heatsink.

First time I hooked it up I thought.. wow this sucks...

temps show it

I should learn to trust my instincts better. I was right about the damn ASUS board too pulling it out of the box.
